Our schools are communities of people all working together to help our rangatahi grow and thrive. I see the work that our cleaners, caretakers, canteen workers, and groundspeople do to make our schools run effectively, and provide an environment where everyone is safe, healthy, and able to learn. They are an integral part of our school community and the work that we do. These workers must have a respectable wage that enables them the same health and security that they provide for our schools.
